The AV8RPro++ Editing To Tape Features
AV8RPro++ has two VCR control modes: one for tape editing and a second for logging and batch digitizing.
The VCR control mode for tape editing lets you:
- Choose among tape-editing modes
- Assemble
- Insert video and audio
- Insert video only
- Insert audio only
- Set frame-accurate tape edit start and end points
- Achieve frame-accurate results with many professional decks
- Preroll the tape to position for high-precision editing on professional decks
- Control Flyer Project playback from within A++ (using AFDA technology)
- Coordinate the 'AutoEdit' control command to the VCR
- Coordinate with triggered time code option
- Coordinate with timing of the GPI output trigger
- Return control to A++ after the project plays (with the StopVCR ARexx crouton)
- Operate the VCR from the A++ GUI (Play, Pause, Stop, FF, REW, Preview Edit points)
- Support the same VCRs and adapter hardware as A++ tape logging and digitizing
The currently supported list of decks appears on the tape logging and batch digitizing information page. The same deck hookup adapters (LANC and RS422) required for batch digitizing also support the editing features. No additional hardware adapters are required.
